Stepping up to it

Various Streetdance competitions are run throughout the UK and are becoming increasingly popular. The ULA intends to become a regular attendee at these events, competing, with a view to achieving recognition at The National Championships.

The ULA has an Elite crew. This crew is recruited from the ranks of the Sunday classes and membership is by invitation only, but all students will have the opportunity to 'try out'.

This Elite class is ideal for those students who need a bigger challenge and have proved in the classes that they have determination, commitment and the right attitude to be part of a performance squad.

This crew is entered into competitions and various shows and therefore potential candidates must display a high level of dedication.

It is anticipated that, over time, there will be a number of crews running out of the Centre.
